The Ministry of Health (Minsa), through the Los Santos Health Region, closed an improvised bathroom operating without the required sanitary conditions in the district of Las Tablas.
According to Minsa, the action was taken after receiving a citizen's complaint alerting to the installation and use of this sanitary service in inadequate conditions, which posed a risk to public health.
During the inspection, the technical team confirmed the existence of two clandestine toilets that were not connected to the sewer system and were located in a public servitude area, violating current legal and sanitary regulations.
According to the entity, after on-site verification, an immediate closure was carried out in compliance with the established sanitary norms.
The operation was carried out by the Department of Public Health in conjunction with the Legal Department of the Ministry of Health, who drew up the corresponding report and initiated the necessary administrative processes.
